Guided by the dual core concepts of Technology and Design, the College incorporates technology into applied learning to develop digitally driven, efficient, and forward-looking competencies, while integrating design into curricula ranging from theoretical foundations and practical training to capstone projects. This educational framework fosters cross-disciplinary thinking and creativity, showcasing the College’s dual strengths in technology and design. The College aspires to prepare graduates to become outstanding professionals and key contributors to society.

Educational Philosophy and Development Goals

The establishment of the College’s departments and programs embodies the University’s educational philosophy of integrating the humanities and technology. The College is dedicated to nurturing professionals who possess creative thinking, design and research capabilities, and a strong sense of social responsibility.

In response to Taiwan’s high-tech industries’ urgent demand for information content and design professionals, another key development goal of the College is to leverage information technology to create diverse forms of digital content and design intuitive, user-friendly multimedia materials. Given the rapid advancement of knowledge and technology, lifelong learning has become a critical factor in enhancing corporate and national competitiveness. Accordingly, educational systems must employ digital technologies and adapt instructional approaches to meet learners’ diverse needs.

Only by equipping students in advance—with solid humanistic foundations, rich creativity, and rigorous logical thinking—can these educational objectives be fully realized.
